Most all the reviews are in and it looks like the team over at Pixar studios has hit yet another home run of a movie with UP. For those of you that are keeping count over the last fourteen years this will make the Pixar run of successful blockbuster movies a perfect ten out of ten movies. I don’t know about you but to me that is just an amazing run of success that I am sure most Hollywood studios or any other movie making studio would love to have.
These are not just good movies either they are some of the more memorable movies to be released to the big screen in the last 14 years. If you have kids in your family than any movie that is released by Pixar has become a must have for your at home movie library collection. I am always amazed how the people that work at the Pixar movie studio manage to always strike the right balance of characters that adults can identify with and funny slap stick humor to keep all the kids entertained.
Even if you are not a big fan of animated movies you would have to admit that the Pixar movies seem to elevate their quality of movie product every time they release a new feature film. This new movie UP is not about to break that trend either as the reviews have all been praising it as another homerun. Also this will be the first Pixar movie to be in the full on 3D Disney technology that will most certainly only add to the whole movie going experience as the 3D movement for movies is really starting to hit it’s stride and become very popular.
Speaking of the whole 3D movie thing that has become so popular in the last few years. My family and I were just down at Disney and we took in a couple of those 3D movie experience shows like it’s Tuff To Be a Bug in the big tree at the Animal Kingdom. The 3D aspect of it was truly amazing but when the room that you are sitting in to watch the movie is actually set up as a live interactive environment to go along with the movie. That experience of seeing a movie in 3D was really at a whole other level. One can only hope that full on 3D movie theaters really take off and we will see more of them being made.
